The East Bengal FC fans are heartbroken by their ISL performance. The Red and Gold Brigade is yet to break their losing streak. While the EBFC consistently showcases underperformance in each match, there's still a glimmer of hope for the team.

Here are a few examples of the most renowned football championships, where the teams initially lost crucial matches and yet they finished the tournament with strong results. 

Newcastle United, in the Premier League, lost their first six games of the 2018-19 season under manager Rafa Benitez. They later found their rhythm, climbed the standings, and finished 13th. 

Manchester United had a rather disappointing season in the 2018-19 Premier League under José Mourinho. After his departure in December 2018, under Ole Gunnar Solskjær, they experienced an impressive turnaround, finishing in sixth place.

Leicester City, while not having a six-game losing streak, spent most of the 2014-15 season at the bottom of the table for four and a-half months and seemed destined for relegation. However, they had a remarkable comeback, winning seven of their last nine games to secure their place in the league, ultimately finishing 14th. Later on in the 2015-16 season, Leicester showcased an outstanding performance and won the title. 

Valencia CF suffered a difficult 2020-21 La Liga season early in 2021. They lost six matches in a row during January and February. However, they performed better in the second half of the season, finishing in 13th place.

The Indian Super League is a fairly new league, organising their 11th edition with 2024-25 season. East Bengal FC might set the first comeback record for the league.
