East Bengal with a 2-0 victory against Aryan in their 10th CFL Premier Division match at Naihati Stadium on Saturday made almost through to the 'Super Six' stage of the Premier Division. The team reached 21 points in 10 matches while Aryan is stuck at 18 points in as many matches. They will have to fight against Bhawanipore and Kidderpore SC which are also within the top three to ensure a berth in the Super Six stage. 

Jesin TK and Aman CK struck the winners. Aryan however tried to bounce back in the later part of the match after Palash Ghosh was substituted. Even they created chances courtesy of the defensive error of East Bengal defenders. But scoring inability and East Bengal custodian Aditya Patra's splendid performance became an obstruction to Aryan's effort to label the scoreline. Jesin TK was chosen man-of-the-match. 

Among the other CFL Premier Division matches on the day, Calcutta Customs rode Subhanil Ghosh and Vishnu TM's goals to edge past Railway FC, and BSS Sporting Club drubbed Police AC 4-0. Subhankar Das, Sufyan Sheikh, Bhawani Jaiswar, and Damli Bomnyo scored for the winners.
