The disappointment continues for East Bengal FC. The new coach Óscar Bruzón couldn't help the team much as their losing streak continued, marking the sixth match. 

Odisha FC secured a 2-1 victory against East Bengal FC, on Tuesday, at Kalinga Stadium. Prolonging the red-yellow brigade to open their ISL account. 

Roy Krishna secured the first goal under his name at just 22 minutes of the game. Isak assisted the goal when he pushed the ball through the EBFC defence line. Solidifying the lead for Odisha FC. 

Right at the stroke of half Diamantakos euqualised the goal for EBFC when he hit the ball at the bottom right corner of the goal.  

However, the hope for EBFC seemed thinning in the second as Odisha FC restarted the game with new vigor. 

Mourtada Fall scored the lead in the 69th minute with the help of Jahouh. 

The dark cloud over East Bengal did not seem to cease as Provat Lakra was sent off for a bad tackle on Jahouh. The team played with 10 men for the last 15 minutes. 

East Bengal FC stays static in the last position after their sixth loss. Odisha FC is occupying the seventh position with 7 points after their fifth game.
