East Bengal registered a 3– 1 victory against Ramthar Veng FC on Friday at Ghansoli’s Reliance Corporate Park in their first Reliance Youth League, group stage.

Himanshu Jangra drew the first blood for East Bengal in the 23rd minute and converted a penalty in the 38th minute. Muhammad Roshal converted another in the 69th minute while Ramthar Veng FC pulled one back in the final quarter.

East Bengal was down to ten men following a red card to Jesin TK late in the second half. 

East Bengal player Roshal after suffering from a concussion was admitted to the hospital. Currently, he is stable as when reports last came in.

East Bengal will face RF Young Champs on 1st May in their RFDL game.
