Chinglensana Singh who wants to join Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) has filed a case with the AIFF, claiming his dues of Rs 1.54 crore from Hyderabad FC.
East Bengal is set to sign former Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus youth product Iago Falque Silva in the January transfer window.
Goal scoring has been a massive problem for the Red and Gold brigade from Kolkata, East Bengal FC, as the Carles Cuadrat-led team has managed to score only 11 goals from 10 matches in the ongoing ISL.
The team's captain Cleiton Silva is the top goal scorer for the club. The Brazilian talisman has so far scored five goals from 10 appearances in the ongoing ISL. Nandha Kumar Sekar and Naorem Mahesh Singh are the next top goalgetters with two goals each.
The 34-year-old forward comes with experience of playing in some top European football clubs. Iago Falque started his football journey with Real Madrid before joining their rivals FC Barcelona during his youth days. He then joined Juventus.

The Spanish forward also represented the Spanish youth national teams starting from the U-17 to U-21 teams. He last featured for the Colombian side America de Cali where he featured 31 times and scored 6 goals.
With ISL currently on a break because of the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2023 event starting from 12th January, the focus for club football in India shifts to the Kalinga Super Cup 2024, starting from the 8th January with the qualifier match between Inter Kashi and Rajasthan United while the main competition begins from 9th January with group stage matches.
On the contrary, Chinglensana Singh who wants to join Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) has filed a case with the federation for not getting his dues of Rs 1.54 crore from Hyderabad. Still, his chance of joining MBSG seems to be in difficulty as he will not be able to sign for another club until Hyderabad pays the dues to Sana. MBSG has reportedly completed verbal negotiation already.

It is also learned that MBSG is unlikely to rope in any foreigner during the ongoing transfer window in January. The club’s top brass has reportedly planned to rope in foreigners in the summer transfer window.
