East Bengal Club has decided to confer 'Bharat Gourab' award to renowned industrialist Ratan Tata on the club's 104th Foundation Day program to be held at Kshudiram Anusilan Kendra on 1st August. The club's top brass will meet Ratan Tata soon to get his consent on the award and also know whether he will be able to attend the function physically on the day to receive the award or will send his wishes through online video conference. 

Renowned goalkeeper, former Indian international Tarun Bose will be presented Byomkesh Bose Memorial award. Former Bengal cricketer Arup Bhattacharjee will be presented 'life time Achievement' award. Ankur Paul will receive the 'Cricketer of the Year' award and Mahesh Singh Naorem has been selected for the 'Emerging Player of the Year' award.
