Spanish defender Hector Yuste in talks with East Bengal. The Super Cup champions are not done yet in terms of domestic signings with transfer fees as time till 31st August. They tried for Suresh also to add depth, but BFC eventually decided not to sell. 

Hector, the 36-year-old Spanish footballer who acquired accolades for the consistent show in the ISL last season wearing a Mohun Bagan Super Giants jersey, earned eighth clean sheets in his 24 appearances in the ISL last season. Even the central defender who played as a defensive midfielder had 87 percent passing accuracy.

However, Anwar Ali, a national defender contracted defender with Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) whose decision to switch over to East Bengal created big controversy in the Indian football transfer has been reportedly registered by MBSG for the Durand Cup and it is believed that the Players Status Committee of the All India Football Federation will finally ask Anwar Ali to continue with MBSG.
