East Kolkata and Howrah district emerged Team Champions in the 6th State and Inter-District Table Tennis Championships, being held in memory of late Dronacharya Jayanta Pushilal on the 9th at the Burrabazar Yubak Sabha club premises.

In the women’s section, East Kolkata defeated North 24 Parganas by 3-2. The East Kolkata team consisted of Prapti Sen, Koushiki Dasgupta, Poulomi Das, Shaniqa Shahid, and Oindrila Singha. In the men’s section, Howrah district overcame North 24 Parganas with 3-2. 

Howrah district consisted of Ankur Bhattacharya, Anirban Ghosh, Tamal Ballav, Ayan Pal, and Avirup Das.
