EB loses points, and Pathachakra forces FCI to split points

Mamoni & Ashiyana Pathachakra again earned a point riding Sahil Harijon’s strike against FCI.

East Bengal's youth team failed to register three points, forced by unbeaten Bhawanipore FC to share points at their 6th CFL Premier League match on Thursday at home.

Bhawanipore’s winning streak halted on the day. Still, the team is on the top of the League table with 16 points from six matches so far. East Bengal which is on the third spot of the League table so far has gathered 12 points from six matches so far.

Bhawanipore has several experienced footballers like Jobby Justin, Subhash Singh, Jiten Murmu, Nikhil Kadam, and Arijit Bagui had more control over the game on the day and they pressed East Bengal more throughout the match creating more space in the attacking third to earn opportunities. East Bengal defenders were seen struggling to combat the quick-passing and off-the-ball-play dished out by Bhawanipore.

However, Subash Singh broke the deadlock for Bhawanipore in the first half and the scoreline was leveled by Deep Saha from a goalmouth melee in the second session.
