EB wants Habas; Inter Kashi does not....

It is learned that East Bengal's top brass wants a quality foreign coach before the first Kolkata derby in the ongoing ISL, scheduled for 19th October.

Additionally, in an unexpected turn of proceedings East Bengal top brass reportedly expressed a desire to rope in Antonio Lopez Habas as the replacement for Carles Cuadrat who resigned from the chief coach's post on Monday. 

But Habas, one of ISL’s most successful coaches might not be available finally for East Bengal as Inter Kashi is reportedly unwilling to release the Spanish coach on loan. Habas, one of the ISL’s most successful coaches joined Inter Kashi after Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) released him this season. 

It is also learned that the Red-and-Gold management has shortlisted a few names for the team's coach's post like Oscar Bruzon, Albert Roca, and Ivan Vukomanvic so far.

However, the club has decided to register Hira Mondal for its ISL team to bolster the defensive organization before the team’s next match against Jamshedpur FC.
