East Bengal continued their winning ways, trouncing West Bengal Police Sports Club 7-1 in their state women's football league, Kanyasree Cup match on Saturday at home. Susmita Bardhan, Sulanjana Raul, and Sonali Mondol scored two goals each while Radha Besra reduced the margin for West Bengal Police Sports Club. 

Among the other scheduled matches on the day, Mohammedan Sporting which failed to field the team in their opening match, lost to Bally Gramanchal Krira Samity 1-2 at home. 

Ropni Hasda scored for the black-and-white brigade while Kajol Mondol and Remi Thokchom scored for the winner.

New Alipore Suruchi Sangha, in another match, rode Deblina Bhattacharjee, Sanjana Kerketta, and Koel Halder's goals to beat Sarojini Naidu Orient Sports Club 3-0. 

However, Kalighat Sports Lovers Association, coming out of their opening defeat earned a 14-0 victory against Invention Football Coaching Centre. 

Maryam Khatun and Parmila Das scored six goals each while Jyoti Kumari and Rakhi Kachap scored for the winners.
