Jeakson Singh Thounaojam gave East Bengal the lead in the 64th minute. Cleiton Silva’s brilliant curling free-kick hit the crossbar, and Jeakson seized the opportunity to nod in the rebound, putting his team ahead. However, Hyderabad FC fought back, with Manoj Mohammed finding the equaliser in the 90th minute through a well-timed effort, ensuring the home team avoided defeat.

The result leaves East Bengal FC in 11th place on the points table, with 13 points from 12 matches, while Hyderabad FC is in 12th place, trailing with seven points from the same number of games. Despite their struggles, East Bengal has managed to win four matches this season but will need to find consistency to climb up the table.
