HFC force EB to share points

East Bengal FC was forced to share the points with Hyderabad FC in a 1-1 draw at the Gachibowli Stadium in a closely fought match.

Jeakson Singh Thounaojam gave East Bengal the lead in the 64th minute. Cleiton Silva’s brilliant curling free-kick hit the crossbar, and Jeakson seized the opportunity to nod in the rebound, putting his team ahead. However, Hyderabad FC fought back, with Manoj Mohammed finding the equaliser in the 90th minute through a well-timed effort, ensuring the home team avoided defeat.
