It is an initiative from a popular ‘mobile app company’ to scout extraordinary 24 boys (under 15 and 13) from India and Bangladesh and convert them into footballers of international standard. 

The initiative has been taken by ‘Hello Superstar’, the mobile app company from Bangladesh which will send the selected 24 boys (12 each from India and Bangladesh) to Real Madrid in association with a top Malaysian sports management company TH Global Football Camp. 

The app created and developed by Kamrul Ahsan will be conducting the scouting program through a rigorous selection method of eight rounds where five phases will be virtual and the last three phases of selection trials will be on the field. The 12 potential Indian boys (6 from the under-15 and 6 from the under-13 age group) will finally selected by three former Indian international footballers Mehtab Hussain, Alvito D’Cunha, and Rahim Nabi. 

In a media conference at the Grand Hotel on Monday, Kamrul Ahsan revealed, “The young footballers, willing to appear for selection trials will have to download the app Hello Superstar on their mobile phones and upload video clippings of their football skills. The judges will go through the clippings and on the basis of their basic skill, they will select the footballer for the next rounds step-by-step. Even, in a bid to avoid nepotism in the selection method, artificial intelligence will be used in the first five virtual selection processes before the chosen footballers get call-ups to appear for the final three rounds of trials physically." 

Hello Superstar has also decided to involve any legendary international footballer in the project. The list and the video footage of the selected 24 boys will be sent to the legendary footballer and following his consent the top four boys will be given an incentive of Rs 5 lakh each.

Mehtab, Nabi, and Alvito-all three former national footballers had the same opinion. They divulged, "It has been a great effort. In our time we could not dream of going to a club like Real Madrid for training. Now the boys are getting such an opportunity." 

Kamrul simultaneously thanked TH Global Football Camp for coming forward with the project.
