The Former France International spent three years for Arsenal and Chelsea during his 16 years playing career.
Arsenal legend, Emmanuel Petit, said that the Chelsea players, on the bench, were arguing amongst themselves during the Club’s 3-1 defeat against Arsenal. The former France International, who spent three years for Arsenal and Chelsea during his 16 years playing career, was sitting very close to the Chelsea dug-out on Tuesday night. He watched Frank Lampard’s side concede three times within 34 minutes of the play.
Petit was shocked by the body language of the players on the bench as they watch their teammates struggle. Speaking to Premier League Productions, the former International said, “I was quite close to Chelsea bench and saw few players arguing among themselves.” He was alarmed by the conduct of the Chelsea players especially in the second half.
According to Petit, even if the Club recruits the 20 best coaches in the universe still they will not be able to bring any change in the performance. According to him, the only solution is to let some players leave the club this summer.
