Sachin expressing his emotion said that Arjun has taken another important step in his journey of cricket career.
Legendary Indian cricketer and former captain Sachin Tendulkar revealed that he has never seen Arjun Tendulkar play in any competitive match before the 23-year-old boy made his debut for Mumbai Indians against KKR on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Sachin twitted “This is a new experience for me as before this I have not actually gone and watched him play. I wanted to make him move freely and make his own decision. Today I sat inside the dressing room because if he starts looking at the mega screen here and realizes I am watching he may move away from his plan. I wanted to make him move freely.”
Former captain Sourav Ganguly tweeted “So happy to see Arjun making his debut for MI. The champion dad must be proud. Wish him all the best." Sachin and Arjun became the first father-son pair to play IPL.
Sachin expressing his emotion said that Arjun has taken another important step in his journey of cricket career. As his father, someone who loves him and is passionate about the game, expects Arjun will give the same respect to the game, and in turn, the game will also love him.
