England cricket team has hired Manchester City football club’s psychologist ahead of the T20 World Cup in June.
David Young, who was already with the England cricket team during their victorious World Cup campaign in 2019, has been associated with the English Premier League champions during their recent supremacy mentioning the EPL title four years in a row.
For now, he has returned to the England dressing room on a temporary basis for the marquee tournament in the US and Caribbean.
“He was previously been with the team and he has already been a great ally in messages back to me, making sure my messages are clear,” Matthew Mott, England’s white-ball coach, said.
Stressing on the need for Young in the dressing room, Mott described the T-20 World Cup as ‘death by a thousand cuts’.
