Erik Ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United is adamant about a comeback after they equalised with FC Porto.

While talking to TNT Sports, the ten-man stated - "We will get there. Don't judge us at this moment, judge us at the end of the season.”

He further continued - "We are in the process, we will improve. We have had two seasons where we have reached finals, we will continue and fight.”

“You see the spirit and the connection between the staff and the team. The players are together, they have a strong spirit, and they want to achieve. We have a good mentality but in some defending parts we have to step up.”

Harry Maguire's dramatic equaliser of 3-3 in stoppage time against FC Porto saved Erik Ten Hag from another defeat. Despite early goals from Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Højlund giving United a strong 2-0 lead, they failed to maintain control and let the advantage slip away as by the halftime of the game Porto equalised with United through Pepê and Samu Omorodion.

After halftime, Omorodion secured the lead for Porto, putting Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag on the brink of another humiliating defeat—one that could push the manager closer to the edge of losing his job.

The situation looked much more farcical until Maguire got the corner and leveled with the Portuguese side. Needless to say, the Dutch coach is under a lot of pressure after the team lost four games without a victory.
