this season Rajdeep wants to present his father the coveted gift by helping Aryans to place in a better position than the last season, in the League.
His passion is to explore talents and bring them into the mainstream of Kolkata football. He roams around the remote villages of Bengal to find out talents and helps them to sustain Kolkata football's different football teams. It is his passion and he is doing this hard work for more than the last four decades. There is the least number of football teams Raghu Nandy has not worked as a coach or technical director.
But this 63-year-old man had a brain stroke three years ago and even after such a shock, Nandy has not quit his passion. He still cannot talk fluently. He is undergoing speech-therapy treatment for the last one-and-half years and continuing talent-hunting.
He is the Technical Director of Aryans Club this season while the team is being guided by Rajdeep Nandy, his son and despite the physical set-back, Raghu Nandy roamed around the district coaching camps of Bengal and spotted 20 promising footballers for Aryans which will kick off in the Kolkata Premier League on Saturday evening at Kalyani Stadium.

Rajdip revealed, "He (Raghu Nandy) is yet to gain physical fitness as he had before the stroke. He still cannot talk fluently. He is undergoing speech-therapy treatment for the last one-and-half years. Still, he accompanied me, traveling to different district coaching camps to spot promising footballers for the team. Even amidst the scorching heat, he traveled with me. I salute his passion and energy even at this age and condition. We have registered around 20 footballers from the coaching camps in different districts."
That is why this season is going to be special for Rajdeep. He wants to present his father the coveted gift by helping Aryans to place in a better position than the last season, in the League. Aryans finished at the fourth spot in the 'Super Six' last season. Rajdeep said, "I want to make my father's hard work successful. Despite the illness and physical obstacles, he worked so hard to build up the team that I feel a better performance will be the best gift for him."
Rajdeep however appreciated IFA for taking the CFL Premier Division to the digital world. He stated, "Thanks to PR Solutions for bringing InSports TV. It will revive the craze of the CFL Premier Division."
