First medal hope for India: Manu Bhaker enters 10m pistol final

On the other hand, rower Balraj Panwar finished 4th in the first-heat of the men's individual skulls, and will have to rely on the repechage round.

Shooter Manu Bhaker has qualified for the Women's 10m Air Pistol final at the Chateauroux Shooting Center.

Bhaker finished with an aggregate of 580, which included 27 inner-circle 10s. Earlier, Sarabjot Singh and Arjun Singh Cheema failed to qualify for the Men's 10m Air Pistol final after finishing 9th and 18th, respectively.

Sarabjot was in contention to qualify for the final, but failed to grab the final spot. This comes after two Indian pairs failed to make it to the final of the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event.

On the other hand, rower Balraj Panwar finished 4th in the first-heat of the men's individual skulls, and will have to rely on the repechage round.
