Florian has 9 siblings! Musiala earns 9 million

German daily ‘Bild’ has unearthed the untold stories of two new sensations in German football, Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala.

After the magical performances of Florian Wirtz (21) and Jamal Musiala (21), the hymns of praise were overwhelming. A leading French sports newspaper wrote, 'Two devils on the loose.' Kai Havertz enthused stating ‘Outstanding’.

Thomas Müller also added proudly stating, "Of course, they showed they are the doers."

"Wusiala" stood out in the strong team performance in the 5-1 goal festival against Scotland. Wirtz sent Germany into ecstasy with his opening goal, and Musiala made it 2-0 and grabbed the 'Man of the Match' award.

The Wirtz family is completely football crazy. Leverkusen champion Florian, whose middle name is Richard, has nine siblings! His favourite discipline in childhood was shooting at the piano stand in the living room - he was just one and a half years old at the time.

Dad Hans-Joachim was his first coach at Grün-Weiß Brauweiler, and he also played handball for a short time under mom Karin Groß. Sister Juliane (22) plays for Werder in the women's Bundesliga. The family didn't have a television until 2016 - for time reasons: the family spent too much time at the local sports facility.

Like Wirtz in Cologne, Musiala is now living in his own apartment in Munich. His mother Carolin, who drove him to Bayern training for years, and his siblings Latisha and Jerell live in Strasslach in the south of Munich and see him almost every week.

Musiala moved to England with his family at the age of seven and was discovered by scouts from Southampton FC at a holiday camp. He then played for eight years in Chelsea's youth team and the English youth teams. Wirtz initially decided against Bayer and in favor of the closer 1. FC Köln. In 2020, he made the explosive move to the Rhine rivals.

Wirtz learned his tricks from former Bremen dribbler Marko Marin (35) and even had a Werder jersey. Musiala's idols are not footballers. He is impressed by the mentality of basketball legends Michael Jordan (61) and Kobe Bryant (†42), once saying: “They endured great hardships. I'm taking them as an example.”

Musiala is single. Wirtz has been with his girlfriend Aaliyah since 2022 and was last seen with her after the cup win in Berlin.

Of course: Both are close friends and are always playing together. Musiala has a football clique: he has known Mika Biereth (Sturm Graz) and Tino Livramento (Newcastle) since childhood. He shared a room with Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) in the English youth teams; neither of them took a nap in the afternoon, instead challenging each other with table tennis and board games. At FC Bayern, he gets on very well with Leroy Sané and Alphonso Davies.

Wirtz knows DHB national player Julian Köster (24/Gummersbach) from his time playing handball and is close to Jeremie Frimpong, Amine Adli, and Niklas Lomb at Bayer.

Wirtz is a dog fan and grew up with a mixed-breed dog from Italy. When asked about his hobbies, he always answered ONLY with football!

Musiala is considered one of the best PlayStation gamers in the DFB team. Surprisingly, he also makes clever moves in chess. Basketball is his great passion and he admires the Golden State Warriors with superstar Steph Curry (36).

Musiala got fit for the European Championships with special training on Mykonos: He rested his sore knee and built up muscles. He is having his sleeping habits analyzed. Because he is constantly being kicked as a dribbler, he is working with a neuro-trainer on exercises to help relieve swelling. In addition, Musiala is training Hapkido, a Korean martial art that makes him supple and helps him roll over after fouls.

What is striking about Wirtz is that he wears extremely small shin guards with the anime character “Rock Lee” on them. And he has a chain with a pendant that shows the number 27, his first jersey number.

Musiala earns around €9 million per season at FC Bayern. He has just become the big face of equipment supplier Nike, earns around €6 million according to BILD information, and has his advertising spot alongside world stars Haaland and Mbappé - recorded at the "Game of Thrones" filming location in Bulgaria.

Wirtz's salary is around 7.5 million per season. He has no agent: his father Hans-Joachim takes care of the contracts, and his mother Karin takes care of the finances.
