Former India international Debjit Ghosh faced a one-year suspension for allegedly making indecent behavior with the fourth referee in August last year.

Once again a fourth referee had to face indecent behavior after the Kidderpore-BSS match ended in the CFL Premier Division on Monday at Kalyani Stadium. 

The fourth referee of the match Bimalendu Mondol was allegedly abused and even pushed by one of Kidderpore Sporting Club's of senior officials in the stadium tunnel after the end of the match. The match ended 1-1 draw. The respective club official, Akash Das did not pick up the phone despite calling repeatedly.

Bimalendu, a national referee in 2022 is optimistic that the referee of the match Dipu Roy and the match-commissioner Ajit Dutta will mention about the incident in their respective reports. 

IFA secretary Anirban Dutta when asked about the issue, said he is waiting for the match-commissioner and referee's report. "Now the report directly comes to the IFA through the CMS system. Our assistant secretary Sudeshna Mukherjee looks after the issue and she will send me the report,” said Dutta.
