Fritz and Sinner All Set For Finals

Fritz and Sinner both faced each other before in 2023. They participated in the Indian Wells in 2023, where Fritz lost to Sinner in three sets.

The finalist has been set for the Grand Slam season. The final will take place in Arthur Ashe Stadium on 8th September.

The American finalist Taylor Fritz will face the world no. 1 Jannik Sinner for the US Open Men’s Singles title.

Fritz overcame a two-sets-to-one deficit to defeat fellow American Frances Tiafoe in five sets, 4-6, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. Relying on his powerful serve and clutch play, including a key 31-shot rally, he turned the match in his favor. Fritz is aiming for his first Grand Slam title, hoping to become the first American man to win one since Andy Roddick in 2003.

However, as for Sinner, he is looking for this second major of 2024 as earlier this he won the Australian Open.

Fritz and Sinner both faced each other before in 2023. They participated in the Indian Wells in 2023, where Fritz lost to Sinner in three sets.

After the win, Fritz wept in an interview and stated "It’s the reason why I work so hard,".

"I mean I’m in the finals of the U.S. Open.” US crowd cheered for him for this impeccable win.

As for the finals on Sunday Fritz promised - “I’m going to come out and I’m going to give everything I possibly have," Fritz said. "I know that for a fact.”.
