A group of fans dressed as Storm-troopers from the iconic Star Wars franchise—dubbed the ‘Gabba Troopers’—stole the spotlight, adding a unique flair to the action-packed game.

Storm-troopers, the fictional soldiers serving the Galactic Empire in Star Wars, have been a recurring theme at the Gabba, with the Gabba Troopers paying homage to the franchise in a quirky yet entertaining way. 

Celebrating their seventh anniversary, the group added an extra layer of excitement to the Test match. The stadium joined in the fun, playing iconic Star Wars soundtracks for the occasion, delighting fans both on and off the field.

The Gabba Troopers have a storied tradition of attending matches at the Gabba, including memorable moments like the 2017 Ashes Test between England and Australia, where an impressive 80 members of the group showed up in full Storm-trooper uniform. 

Their latest appearance at the India-Australia Test underscores their commitment to making cricket matches even more entertaining for fans.
