George Telegraph upset Mohun Bagan 2-1 in their ninth match of the ongoing CFL Premier Division at Kalyani Stadium on Sunday. Serto Kom gave the Mariners a lead in the 31st minute from the spot-kick. But George Telegraph bounced back and Amit Ekka, son of the soil struck twice for the winners in the 54th and 57th minute, respectively. 

The fifth-placed George Telegraph has garnered 15 points from their nine matches so far while Mohun Bagan is stuck in seventh position in the League table with 12 points from eight games so far.

In another match of the CFL Premier Division on the day Calcutta Police and Peerless split points playing out a goalless draw at Mohammedan Sporting Ground.
