GOA forced to share points with Chennaiyin

Chennaiyin FC stands at the fifth position with 8 points. While Goa FC with their 6 points, occupying the 8th place of the ISL chart.

The anticipated match between Chennaiyin FC and Goa FC drew the ending line with a 2-2 draw. 

Both teams started with their attacking stance. The action from Chennaiyin FC began in the 3rd minute of the game with Irfan Yadwad making a brilliant left-footed shot from the centre of the box but unfortunately, Goa blocked the attempt. 

After several attacks of Lukas Brambilla, Wilmar Jordán, and Connor Shields being consistently blocked by the Goa FC defender. At just 11 minutes Chennaiyin FC opened the goal book for the day with Wilmar Jordán’s left-foot shot from a close range that went straight into the goal. 

The Goa FC succeeded in equalising the goal just a few minutes before halftime in the 45th minute as Udanta Singh served a header with the help of Aakash Sangwan, from centre of the box to the top right corner.

In the 51st minute, Armando Sadiku converted a penalty shot as a goal, securing a lead for Goa FC. 

Daniel Chima solidified the tie for the match. He successfully turned a header into a goal in the 79th minute. Even after having a few good opportunities none of the teams could turn the opportunity into a goal.
