India and Australia will meet for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Perth on November 22, then the squad will move to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Cameron Green, the Australian all-rounder, was excluded from the five-Test series against India due to undergoing spine surgery. Green previously experienced back pain during Australia’s ODI tour of England, in September. The 25- years-old, cricketer was immediately sent home for further physical assessment.
Cricket Australia notified that - "Whilst spine stress fractures are not unusual in pace bowlers, Cam has a unique defect in an adjacent area to the fracture that is believed to be contributing to the injury,”.
“After a thorough consultation, it was determined Cameron would benefit from the surgery to stabilise the defect and reduce the risk of future recurrence.”
The governing body disclosed that Green’s physical recovery following the surgery will approximately take six months.

Needless to say, Australia will face a significant setback with the absence of the practiced all-rounder. He is the obvious fifth bowling choice for Australia after Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon.
He previously established his batting prominence scoring 174 not out in the first test against New Zealand in March.
