Five times IPL champion Mumbai Indians lost to Gujrat Titans by 52 runs in the 35th match of the 2023 IPL here at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. 

Winning the toss MI put Gujrat to bat first. In spite of Arjun Tendulkar making an early breakthrough by taking Saha’s wicket, Shubman Gill’s 56 off 34 balls assisted by Davi Miller (46) and Abhinav Manohar (42) guided GT to a total of 207/6 in 20 overs. Chawla bagged 2/34 for the visiting team.

MI were hardly ever able to get their innings going. Hardik Pandya and Md Shami strangled them in the power play. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad also bowled tightly and all four bowlers kept taking wickets. For the visiting team N. Wadhera (40) and Cameron Green (33) gave a late fight stopping 55 runs behind GT.
