Gujrat Titans faced their second match against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitely stadium. Winning the toss Captain Hardik Pandya rightly send DC to bat first as the pitch was heavy due to overnight rain. The ball moved considerably and DC had to fight hard for runs. Captain David Warner 37(32) Sarfaraz Khan 30(34) A. Porel 20(11) and Axer Patel 36(22) put on good runs which helped DC to score 162 in 20 overs losing 8 wickets. Among the Gujrat bowlers MD. Shami ( 4-0-41-3) and Rashid Khan (4-0-31-3) bowled brilliantly and were supported by A Joseph ( 4-0-29-2)
While DC came out to the field Sarfaraz Khan was replaced by Khaleel Ahmed as an impact player. Gujrat lost quick wickets when Saha and S. Gill were out in quick successions by Nortje (2/39) but Shankar 29(23) and Sudarshan 62*(48) controlled the situation and gradually GT approached the target. After Shankar was out LBW to Marsh David Miller 31*(16) took GT to the target total of 163 in 18.1 overs losing 4 wickets. Gujrat now is the only team to have won both the matches they have played.
