Hardik Pandya took a huge leap in T20 ranking, as he became new no-1 T20 all rounder along with srilanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga. Hardik Pandya earned this prize after his heroics in just concluded T20 world cup. 

Team India’s vice captain played a crucial role in their t20 world cup triumph. Hardik pandya made his contribution with both the bat and the ball. Through the entire tournament he came up with a solid cameo down the order and gave India Team a break through. 

In the final match Hardik Pandya also played a pivotal role for Team India. He defended 16 runs in the last over and grabbed the wicket of Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller. India captain Rohit Sharma had relied on him for the last over. Hardik proved himself there. He defended 16 runs and picked up David Miller on his First delivery which confirmed India’s T20 world cup triumph. Hardik Pandya scored 144 runs with strike rate of 151.57 in six innings. He scalped 11 wickets in 8 matches including his best figure 3/20. On Wednesday ICC announced his name as new number-1 T20 all rounder.
