Hardik Pandya hits Rishabh Pant during training!

The Indian team will not play any warm-up match before their opening match against Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy.

Indian team’s training before their opening match of the Champions Trophy at ICC Academy ground in Dubai on Sunday got a slight twist after Hardik Pandya’s strike hit Rishabh Pant straight on his left knee. 

Pant was in pain but after getting his knee strapped, he's coming to the nets to have a hit. The knee was heavily strapped. Still, Rishabh Pant batted at the nets with not much discomfort. 

However, Varun Chakaravarthy has a calf issue and missed the third ODI against England as well. But now he seems fit. Team India is expecting his availability for selection for the Bangladesh match, scheduled to be held on 20th February. 

Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh, both the fast bowlers looked toiling hard. 

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli made a young fan's day special by giving him an autograph before the training. Kohli also looked toiling hard with his bat at the nets for a long time.

Captain Rohit Sharma and the coach Gautam Gambhir were seen giving pep-talk to all the cricketers at the net on the day.
