HAWA suspends three district secretaries

HAWA General Secretary, Rakesh Singh, said this is a wrong move.

Haryana Amateur Wrestling Association (HAWA) has suspended the secretaries of three affiliated districts as they were alleged of being involved in the protest against WFI President Brij Bhushan.

HAWA president Rohtash Singh issued a suspension letter for Virender Singh Dalal of Jhajjar, Sanjay Singh Malik of Hisar, and Jai Bhagwan of Mewat. The president said, "All three are still continuing their activities with the protestants which is unethical and against the objectives, rules, and regulations of WFI and HAWA."

However, HAWA General Secretary, Rakesh Singh said this is a wrong move and the President now has the power to suspend them.

Rohtash Singh, in a separate letter, has also suspended Ajay Singh Dhanda and Jai Bhagwan Lathar, manager of Saheed Bhagat Singh Wrestling Academy in Mirchpur. They have been accused of being involved in anti-HAWA and WFI activities.
