The IFA at a disciplinary committee meeting on Thursday has suspended Debjit Ghosh, the Technical Director of ASOS Rainbow for one year and also issued a penalty of Rs 1 lakh. 

Debjit, the former Indian international had allegedly made indecent behaviour with fourth referee. The disciplinary committee has also decided to extend the suspension period for one more year if Ghosh fails to deposit the penalty within next one month.

At the same time, Maheshtala Football & Sports Lovers Forum, the team that participated in the IFA-organized nursery league has also been banned from the nursery league and a footballer and the coach of Vijaygarh Training Center, another nursery league team have also been suspended on the age manipulation issue.
