
A four-day Coaches Clinic was conducted for this very purpose at Baharampur, Murshidabad on Wednesday.
Developing young talents has been a priority lately and IFA has hence taken steps to focus on grassroots coaches to ensure proper planning-based training for the young talents from different parts of Bengal.
A four-day Coaches Clinic was conducted for this very purpose at Baharampur, Murshidabad on Wednesday. 21 grassroots-level trainers from Murshidabad, Maldah, Dakshin Dinajpur, East Medinipur, Kalingpong, and Birbhum districts participated in this clinic and all the coaches were guided by the expertise of UEFA Pro License Instructor Senesa Jelic.
Jelic was assisted by UEFA A licensed coach Malay Sengupta. The four-day clinic was also attended by some prominent personalities, including IFA Vice President Biswajit Bhaduri, Murshidabad District Sports Association Vice President Shekhar Roy, Cricket Sub Committee Chairman Sanjay Roy, and Football Sub Committee Chairman Thirshendu Ghosh. At the end of this clinic, instructor Senesa Zelic said that the clinic had been very good and was impressed by the instructors' eagerness to learn.
