The Indian men's volleyball squad, followed by their impressive win over South Korea, on Friday advances to the Quarter-finals with a straight-set 3-0 win over Chinese Taipei. India won the last three points and cleanly claimed the first set that lasted 27 minutes. 

The CXC Gymnasium at Hangzhou witnessed as India raced to 4-1 lead in the second set. The last set was also in the bag with a 25-21 win. In their round of 12 knockout match, India progressed to the 1-6 place playoffs. 

In the quarter-finals on Sunday, the Indian men's volleyball team will face Japan who also won 3-0 against Kazakhstan today. 

The upcoming game for the winners would be against either China or Indonesia for a place in the gold medal match scheduled to be on 26th September.
