India reaches historic 100-medal mark in The Asian Games with Kabaddi-gold

In badminton, the pair of Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will go for gold in men's doubles

India breached the 100-medal mark at the 19th Asian Games on Saturday as the women's Kabaddi team won gold after beating Chinese Taipei in a closely-contested final. In women's compound individual archery, Jyothi Surekha Vennam won gold, while Aditi Swami bowed out with a silver. In the men's event, Ojas Deotale defeated compatriot Abhishek Verma in an all-India final, completing a 1-2 for the country. 

In badminton, the pair of Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will go for gold in men's doubles while the Indian men's cricket team will fight for the top place on the podium with Afghanistan. Indian kabaddi teams, both men's and women's, will fight for gold too. Apart from them, India will be in action in wrestling, canoeing and other events too.
