India swiped a 3-0 win over Pakistan and lifted title

India took the crown as SAFF U-19 Champions

The Indian team emerged as the SAFF Men’s U19 champions with a spectacular 3-0 triumph over Pakistan at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu on Saturday, September 30. This was India's eighth youth title in the SAFF championships.

India was up against a solid defense from Pakistan right from the start of the game. Pakistan played physical football in the first half while the Indians took time to settle down.

The second half however, brought about a spectacular shift as India took control of the game.

Substitute Manglenthang Kipgen showed off his talent and precision as he scored the first two goals which pushed down Pakistan's ambitions. He was rightfully awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.

Gwgwmsar Goyary found the back of the net at the end of the second half and sealed India's triumph.
