Cricket World Cup schedule has been published. The World Cup ball is rolling from October 5. In the first match, last time champions England and runners-up New Zealand face each other. India's campaign will begin on October 8. India's first opponent is Australia. The final of the mega tournament will be held on November 19. India will play against South Africa at Eden Gardens. The second semi-final of the World Cup will also be played in Eden.

Meanwhile, ICC did not listen to PCB's objection. Even if Pakistan doesn't want to, the country will have to play the ODI World Cup league match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. That is not a match. Rather, Pakistan will have to fight against the host India in the biggest cricket stadium in the world.
