Indian Navy clinch second consecutive Beighton Cup title

After the regulation time ended 2-2, the Indian Navy finally won the exciting battle 3-2 in the penalty shoot.

They have participated in the country's oldest hockey championship only thrice and recorded the title twice. Indian Navy registered amazing statistics with the second consecutive victory in the 125th edition of Beighton Cup against fancied Indian Oil via penalty shoot-out at Kolkata SAI Astroturf on Sunday.

After the regulation time ended 2-2, the Indian Navy finally won the exciting battle 3-2 in the penalty shoot. Sushil Dhanwar, Akib Rahim, Prashant, Yogesh Singh, and Kuldeep scored the winner. For Indian Oil, Gurjinder Singh scored a brace while Affan Yusuf and Ankit Pal scored one each.
