Duleep Trophy is just around the corner, starting from September 5. However this year Duleep Trophy is so much in discussion because of various controversies surrounding it. Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association's Anantapur Cricket Ground is one of the venues for the Duleep Trophy. Taking a look at this pitch many say it reminds of Perth, in Australia. Because of the green top, bouncy pitch. The batters have to face a tough test. 

Last year domestic cricket faced various problems as the national team crickets started turning away from domestic cricket, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer faced trouble for that. Both of the cricketers were excluded from the board’s annual central contract. While Shreyas’s return to the national team is confirmed, Ishan’s confirmation is yet to be released.  

As the Indian board has announced that if there is no international cricket, almost all of the Indian teams will have to play domestic cricket except for a few. 

The first round of the Duleep Trophy will be played against India C Team and D Team. Team C will be led by Rituraj Gaikwad and has players like Suryakumar Yadav. On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer is taking the lead of Team D Ishaan Kishan, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana are in his team.  

The match will be tough for the batsman also the pacers who owned almost 345 wickets throughout the 15 matches played in this pitch.

Needless to say, the fans are already excited they are already lining up for tickets. The free tickets will be given on a first come first serve basis. The administration is having a tough time managing the crowd. Duleep Trophy popularity is never to be ceased.
