Along with this situation, another post by Ajinkya Rahane went viral online. In the shared video he was practicing in the nets after the Indian cricket team had a rough day in Bengaluru. The spectators took notice of the post and speculated that Rahane was openly trolling BCCI.
Rahane is currently leading the Mumbai team in Ranji Trophy 2024-25. He was dropped from the Indian test team to give the young talents an opportunity.
