The club is presently associated with an Andorran premier team Inter Club d’Escaldes.
Inter Kashi is likely to get the approval from All India Football Federation (AIFF) to participate in the qualifiers of the Indian Women's League (IWL) this season, scheduled to be played in January next year. The Varanasi-based football team had an excellent performance in their debut in the I-League.
Uttar Pradesh Football has not yet started the state women's league which is required for the qualification of IWL-2. But it is believed that Uttar Pradesh Football Association (UPFA) has also recommended Inter Kashi's name to the AIFF citing example of the club's men's team's impressive performance in the I-League debut as well as the club's infrastructure which might be fruitful for the club to get Federation's approval to participate in the IWL-2.
Inter Kashi's key motive is to create a platform for potential women footballers who have been playing in different states. Considering the scouting programs so far, the club has spotted 10 potential women footballers from Uttar Pradesh who are playing for different teams in other states.
Along with them, the club wants to register more promising women footballers, mostly from the state. According to plans, the club wants to start training with 30 potential girls at Sigra Stadium in Varanasi. Even though the training of the women's team will be non-residential, the club has plans to introduce a residential training program for them. Inter Kashi is likely to get Sigra Stadium on lease.
The club is presently associated with an Andorran premier team Inter Club d’Escaldes. The top brass also plans to provide advanced training for its women footballers with the cooperation of Andorran Club in the future.
