The investor group of East Bengal this season Emami Group has reportedly agreed to work together with the club officials in near future. It is learned that in the much-awaited board meeting held at the investor's city office on Thursday, the company top brass has agreed to co-operate with East Bengal top brass regarding the policy matter. 

The company bosses however have not promised to increase budget next year and explained that they had spent enough money to build up the best side this season. One of the club senior executives revealed on condition of anonymity, "The company bosses have promised to take advices from the club regarding the build-up of the senior team before next season. Now time will say everything." 

The board has called up second meeting on 25th March at the club official for a further discussion on the football issue. 

Incidentally, a section of east Bengal fans made agitation in front Emami office on the day. The club as well as the investor has denounced the activities.
