It has been learnt that the investor is not in the mood to increase the budget they made this year for the building of the senior team. Even, a senior club executive revealed on condition of anonymity that the coach Stephen Constantine's future is not yet decided for the next season. The negotiation between the British coach and the investor is reportedly on. The investor seems unhappy with the performance naturally.
Recently, club executives and representatives of the investor created controversy over the official discussion scheduled to be held after the end of the team's ISL journey this year. Club's senior executives demanded saying that even though they had sent a letter to the investor for the discussion, it was not given proper importance while the investor claimed they had not yet received any such letter from the club.
However, Archisman Biswas who was the chief coach of the club's under-15 team has joined as assistant coach of the club's reserve team that will take part in the forthcoming second division I-League as well as the Kolkata Premier League this season.
