Ishan and Surya storm at Mohali. Chasing a target of 215 runs MI won by six wickets with seven balls to spare.
Mumbai Indians chased a mammoth target of 215 runs to win at Mohali on Wednesday in the 46th IPL match. After Rohit Sharma fell for a duck, Surya Kumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan smashed brilliant fifties which paved the way for a win for the visiting team. Yadav (66) and Kishan (75) both got out in quick succession Tilak Varma and Tim David pulled the score to reach the target with seven balls to spare winning by six wickets. Ellis took two wickets for 34 runs.
Earlier PSK was sent to bat first. Captain Dhawan (30) gave a good start before felling to Chawla. Jitesh Sharma (49) and Livingstone (82) smashed Mumbai bowlers all over the park. The two registered an unbeaten 119 runs partnership in 53 balls and helped PSK to register a huge total of 214/3. Mumbai Indian bowler Piyush Chawla bowled economically bagging 2 wickets for 29 runs.
