Ishan Kishan, skipper of the Jharkhand team, marked his return to form with a stunning century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Manipur. Kishan smashed 134 runs off 78 balls, including 16 fours and 6 sixes, at a strike rate of 171.79, showcasing his readiness for an Indian team comeback.

Kishan last played for India in the 2023 ODI World Cup against Afghanistan, stepping in for the unwell Shubman Gill in the initial matches. His recent performance strengthens his case for rejoining the national squad.
