Jadhav will replace the injured David Willey in RCB

Jadhav was a regular player in IPL but did not get a chance in 2022.

Royal Challengers Bangalore has replaced the injured David Willey with Kedar Jadhav who started doing commentary of the IPL matches in Marathi language for Jio Cinema. The former CSK player was purchased for Rs 1 crore. In a press release, RCB stated, “Willey has flown back to nurse his injury.”  However, neither RCB nor IPL has detailed the injury.

Willey was hurt on his toes when he was hit by Russell’s yorker in the match against KKR.

Jadhav was a regular player in IPL but didn’t get a chance in 2022. He, also, remained unsold in the last auction. Since his inclusion in IPL, he represented RCB, CSK, Delhi Capitals, and some other teams. He played 17 matches for RCB in 2016 and 2017 after he was purchased from former Delhi Daredevils.
