Rei Tachikawa breaks the deadlock
Jamshedpur FC beat Hyderabad FC in the Indian Super League, on the 5th of October, Thursday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur.
The first half between Red Miners and The Nizams was goalless. Both teams went on offensive and created many chances but were deterred by their opponents skillful defense.
In the second half, Jamshedpur FC were eager for a goal and they went for the opponents goal post with gusto. The attacking midfielder of the hosts, Alen Stevanovic was fired up and delivered an onslaught of balls from the Midfield repeatedly. However, they lacked proper finesse at the final third and were unable to goal.
After the water break, in the 76th minutes of the game, the hosts earned a free-kick and the Japanese midfielder Rei Tachikawa found the back of the net at the top left corner to take the lead. Due to Hyderabad's inability to reach the equaliser, Jamshedpur FC swiped full three points.
