Still, Bengal is relying on ‘under-rated’ Amit Ghosh’s experience and guidance to reach the final and clinch the title this season.
Amit played football for long 15 years and then started coaching in 2010. Under his coaching, Adamas won the third-division league. Under his guidance, BNR failed to advance to the Premier Division only by a deficit of one point.

Bengal who became runner-up last year, has been demonstrating consistent game till the semi-final so far. The coach said, "The boys look upbeat. They have been performing with dominance so far, especially the goalkeeper Nandan Roy, wing-half Tanbir Dey, the top scorer of the tournament so far with three goals, and Mohit Mondol, the central midfielder have been performing consistently.”

Mohit Mondol is uncertain for Wednesday's crucial semi-final due to illness. Still, the coach did not sound anxious. "Punjab players generally try to depend on physical strength. Still, if our boys can perform as they have been exhibiting in the tournament, we will not lose," concluded the coach.
