Juyel Sarkar to represent India in Youth Asian Championship, Rahul hopeful of medal

Juyel was one of the gold medal-winning members of the Indian team in the Asia Cup stage 4 in Iraq.

Juyel Sarkar has been selected in the Indian squad for the forthcoming Youth Asian Archery championship, scheduled to be held in Chinese Taipei from 26th September to 4th October.

Juyela student of Bengal Archery Academy at Jhargram and coached by former Olympian archer Rahul Banerjee was one of the gold medal-winning members of the Indian team in the Asia Cup stage 4 in Iraq.

Rahul Banerjee however sounded optimistic that this prodigious archer from Bengal’s one of the remotest villages in Maldaha, Dhopapara would be able to win a medal in his debut in Asian Championship also. "He is potential and considering his current form I am hopeful that he will be able to win a medal in the competition."
