Kalighat MS humbled CFC 5-0 in their CFL Premier Division match at Kalyani Stadium ground on Friday. Koustav Dutta and Arup Mondol scored twice each while Rentu Roy scored for the winners. 

Kalighat MS is closer to ‘Super Six’ phase with 21 points from their 10th League tie so far. Club president Ajit Banerjee however said, “We should not be complacent. We have two more matches against Mohammedan Sporting and Tollyunge Agragami. We need to deliver our best to ensure six points and finish at 27 points. Then the scenario will be clear.” 

In other CFL Premier Division match Peerless SC split points playing out a 1-1 draw against Southern Samity. Stephanson Pale scored for Peerless and Nabi Hussain scored for Southern Samity.
